About the PGDL Law Conversion Course

Want to become a lawyer but don't have a law degree? No problem. 

With our PGDL law conversion course, you can get what it takes to compete with law graduates, with expert training from experienced legal professionals. You’ll gain hands-on experience with the high-level legal skills and knowledge you need to progress into your legal career, while setting yourself up for further training as either a solicitor or barrister.

Entry requirements

The entry requirements for the Law Conversion Course (PGDL) are as follows: 

  • Minimum 2:2 honours degree (or equivalent) in any subject from a recognised UK institution (or overseas equivalent) 

If you do not think you meet the entry requirements, but have other qualifications, strong references or relevant work experience, please contact us and we can review your options. 

English language requirements 

To study at BPP, it is important that you are able to communicate and engage in English effectively in an academic setting. 

If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide proof of your ability – for reading, writing, listening and speaking in English. 

Fees

2024-2025 academic year

London Central (Holborn) – £14,300

Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Cambridge, Online – £11,400

A deposit of £350 will need to be paid within 48 hours of accepting your offer on all our courses, to secure your place. 

In addition to your fees, there may be additional charges associated with your studies if you need to resit a BPP assessment.
