Are you in sync with your New Year law career plans yet? There isn’t long left! A vacation scheme could well be your ticket to that coveted training contract you’ve been dreaming about, and the deadline for a lot of this year’s opportunities is 15 January 2014! Time to get busy and get applying if you haven’t already!
Second and third year law students: your time to enter the law auditorium has come! This time of year is all about getting your action plan together for building up your legal experience and commercial awareness before training contract crunch time. Vacation schemes are becoming an ever more vital piece of the puzzle for wannabe solicitors; more and more top firms are now considering a vacation scheme on a CV to be an essential piece of evidence of dedication to a law career.
A big chunk of 2014 spring and summer vacation schemes have the deadline of 15 January, so if you want to make sure you’re a competitor and haven’t applied yet then get a wiggle on!
