Walker Morris trainees with a desire to travel could get a bursary worth £1000 from the regional firm.
The firm has introduced a new scheme that will support trainees who want to do charitable work and/or develop their commercial skills in the UK or abroad. From working at an orphanage in Thailand to working in a soup kitchen in a deprived part of the UK, the firm say that the bursaries demonstrate their longstanding commitment to recruit and retain sociable, motivated and talented individuals.
Nick Cannon, recruitment partner at Walker Morris, explains, "We are keen to support our trainees who are looking to challenge themselves and who are keen to develop a new perspective on the world. By working and travelling abroad they are faced with new and often difficult situations, which help to develop their skills and their ability to cope with new environments and challenges."
