For any law student looking to become an attorney in the US, the U.S. bar exam is an essential component. The exams take place each year in February and July and require a specific programme of preparation. If your undergraduate law degree is equivalent to a US law degree, you will sit the New York bar examination. If you are qualified, but not with an equivalent common law degree, you will sit the California bar examination.
