Family law: Life, litigation and real-world client work
What is it really like to practise family law? In this session, the BPP team will interview a panel of practising family lawyers to explore the realities of working in this challenging and deeply human area of practice. The discussion will cover the nature of the work, the skills required to succeed and the personal qualities that are particularly important when advising clients through significant life events. Students will gain a clearer understanding of the day-to-day experience of family lawyers and the routes into this rewarding specialism.

Our client is looking for a Financial Regulation Associate to join their global law firm.
Basic salary:
£145,000 - £175,000 depending on experience
Location:
London
Level:
Mid-level associate (3-6PQE)
Required experience:
Candidates should have experience of working in Financial Regulatory team and be qualified in England & Wales.
The successful candidate will have an excellent academic record and strong technical skills.
They will be joining a small team consisting of 2 partners, 2 senior associates, 6 associates and 2 trainees. With this in mind, the successful candidate will need to be a robust self-starter who can progress without significant support.
