Two former lawyers fancy their chances of going into business with Lord Alan Sugar as they take the plunge on BBC TV show, The Apprentice.
Family solicitor Lauren Riley is joined by Felipe Alviar-Baquero, a Colombian-born solicitor who previously worked at Magic Circle firm Slaughter and May.
Riley describes herself as a ‘entrepreneur and social butterfly’, with Alviar-Baquero claiming that he studied law ‘to change the world. But my real passion is business’.
The Apprentice offers contestants the chance to receive £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar, in exchange for 50% of the business. It airs on BBC One at 9pm this evening.
