The AllAboutLaw perspective on Dentons

Trainees at Dentons get the unique opportunity to work with an award-winning, multinational firm, where the firm’s 11,000+ lawyers speak over 80 languages. As a trainee, you’ll get to experience this international focus first-hand, with the chance to experience client and international secondments in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

There are numerous seat options available, including banking and finance, private client and TMT (technology, media and telecommunications.) There’s a wide variety of choices, but, no matter what you choose, you’ll be working with experts in the field. Client secondment opportunities and brand new development modules allow you to further develop your personal and professional capabilities.

There’s no ‘typical’ lawyer at Dentons, and the firm is proud of the diversity amongst their employees. While there are academic requirements (a minimum 2:1 degree and a minimum of ABB at A-Level), the firm looks at every application received and takes into account mitigating factors. Dentons even uses Rare Recruitment Contextual Recruitment System to ensure the application process is as fair as possible.

To further their commitment to diversity, the firm has a wide range of diversity networks, such as GLOW for their LGBT+ lawyers and Inspire, which champions Gender Equality. Dentons also has a renowned scholarship scheme for BME students, as well as a popular apprenticeship scheme in partnership with BPP University.
