Farrer & Co Application Process

Each law firm has it's own unique approach to assessing candidates and Farrer & Co is no different. Here we'll take you step-by-step through Farrer & Co's application process, so you can know exactly what to expect and how best to prepare.

Stage One - Eligibility

Before applying to Farrer & Co, make sure you are eligible. Law students should apply at the end of their second undergraduate year. Non-law students should apply at any time from October of their final year. Graduates should apply at any time and the firm welcomes applications from career changers.

Stage Two - Application Form

To apply for a Training Contract with Farrer & Co, you need to complete an online application form before the deadline. A well-constructed covering letter forms part of the online application process. This gives applicants an opportunity to demonstrate sound written communication skills by expanding on why they are well-suited to the firm.

Stage Three - Interviews

If you are successful at stage two, you will be invited to a two-stage interview process that is conducted by video call by two members of Farrer & Co’s graduate recruitment panel of senior associates and partners.
