They are usually held at the law firm itself, however, due to the impact of the pandemic, many recent open days have been held virtually. Don’t be afraid to ask questions throughout the day! They could potentially link to the prior research you have done into the firm – for example, by asking about a current structural or business change occurring within the firm or a recent article you have read.

Asking questions about their application process and training contract opportunities and making notes of any helpful tips and tricks can be a great way to prepare for future applications. However, make sure you don’t ask questions which can be easily found online, as this suggests you haven’t done enough research.
