To support their employees, Mayer Brown has a number of employee networks to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Networks focusing on race and ethnicity “Fusion”, disability and health “Enable”, LGBTQIA+ colleagues and allies “LGBT+”, enhancing gender equality in the workplace “Retain and Advance Women (RAW)”,“Multi-Faith” to celebrate/champion topics relevant to faith, beliefs, and supporting working families and balancing homelife “Work & Me”. The networks provide a safe space for Mayer Brown colleagues to discuss firm strategy, policies and voice any potential changes they can work together to address.

The firm is also keen to ensure all their employees feel respected and supported. They hold workshops and presentations training how to tackle unconscious bias, and offering recommendations to cultivate a workplace culture of respect and inclusion. Furthermore, to ensure that employees can reach their full potential, the firm provides resources to support mental wellbeing. Initiatives offered include: stress management advice, financial well-being support, mindfulness presentations and yoga classes.
