Watson Farley & Williams also have a variety of initiatives aimed at working parents. They partner with city parents, an external network for professionals who wish to balance work and family. The firm holds a variety of different internal events: providing practical support, resources and workshops for working parents. Watson Farley & Williams even provide coaching for women when they return from maternity leave.

The firm is also committed to ensuring ethnic minorities feel supported and included in the workforce. The firm has signed the Business in the Community’s Race at Work Charter, which requires organisations to: appoint an executive race sponsor, take action to ensure career progress among ethnic minorities and capture ethnicity data. Watson Farley & Williams themselves have an ethnic and racial diversity group, which is led by employees and aims to develop conversations about race.
