Trainees at Mills & Reeve receive plenty of support throughout their journey. Past trainees have praised the fact that “no question is a silly question, and colleagues are always willing to talk through a matter with you.” Aside from the regular support and mentoring you’ll receive from a senior lawyer, there are a variety of different well-being initiatives at the firm. Trainees have gotten involved in in-house yoga and attended talks about managing stress.
Mills & Reeve are also keen to give back to the community, with all trainees receiving one paid day of leave for volunteering. There are several different opportunities for pro bono work and volunteering opportunities, and employees receive a day of paid leave every year to support local community charities.
